1. Connect the headphones to the headphone jack on your TV
2. Press the Home button
3. Select Settings
4. Select Sound
5. Select Headphone/Audio Out
6. Choose Headphone and confirm by pressing OK

For other Sony Tv's

1. Connect the headphones to the headphone jack on your TV
2. Press the Home button
3. Select Settings
4. Select Preferences.
5. Select Setup
6. Select AV Setup
7. Select Headphone/Audio Out
8. Choose Headphone and confirm by pressing OK
