The LED, found on the panel of the TV, will change colour depending on the situation. Your TV will normally be illuminated in one of the following colours:
Green:
- A green LED that is On continuously is an indication that the TV power is on
- A green LED that blinks On and Off is an indication on some models that the TV is receiving commands from the remote control
- Are you getting a black screen? Try changing to a different input by pressing the INPUT or TV/ VIDEO button on the remote control
Amber:
An amber light can occur in the following situations:
- Sleep Timer - the TV will turn off after a set amount of time
- On/Off Timer - turns the TV on and off at set times of the day
- NOTE: Timers can be set, changed, or turned on/off in the Settings menu of the television.
The television is receiving a software update - This only happens if your TV is connected to an active high-speed Internet connection.
- Do not turn off the television or remove power during a software update
- Your remote control will not work while an update is being downloaded/installed
- Updates may take several minutes to download and install. Please be patient. The TV will return to normal operation after the update finishes
White (Android TVs)
White indicates that the TV/picture off mode is set, or a software update is being processed
When the picture is on, the whiLED blinks when is receiving commands from the remote control
Cyan (Android TVs)
Cyan indicates that the TV is connecting with a mobile device wirelessly
Pink (Android TVs)
Pink indicates that the TV is currently in recording mode
